ADOPTIONS

Mat-Su Animal Care and Regulation has a variety of animals for adoption. Don't be discouraged if you do not find the right pet for you the first time you visit the shelter as we receive new animals every day. When you visit the shelter you may see information about each animal on their kennel. This information comes from their former owners (if the animal was surrendered) and from day-to-day interactions with volunteers and staff. This information is provided to help you select the right animal for your lifestyle.

Our shelter does currently have an adoption application process. We try to work with you to help you find the right pet for your family. All adoptions are first-come, first-serve.
